It has only been a few years that scientists have dealt with the question of how human-machine interaction and aesthetics go together. Therefore, a lot of research is needed. In the Dagstuhl Seminar "The Study of Visual Aesthetics in Human-Computer Interaction", scientists discussed current challenges with the objective of preparing a research agenda for human-machine interaction (HCI research agenda) in this interdisciplinary discipline.
