Marc Hassenzahl
Professor at Folkwang University in the department of Design
The graduate pychologist started his professional career as a junior professor for economic psychology at the University of Koblenz-Landau and as a research assistant at the Psychological Institute of the Technical University of Darmstadt. Furthermore, he worked as a freelance usability consultant, as a usability engineer at the Center of User Interface Design at Siemens AG in Munich and as a senior usability consultant at User Interface Design GmbH. He is a founder member and board member of the German Usability Professionals' Association.
His research interests lie in the field of Usability Engineering, attractive interactive products (hedonic quality, "joy of use") and new analysis and evaluation methods.
